Dark Moon in Aries

The Dark Moon in Aries connects us to our own Divine spark, that which ignites our passion. When we are fired up, we feel confident and self-assured. We hold within us a strong sense of self, and we cannot be swayed, not by the opinions of others, nor our own self-doubts. In women this divine spark resides in our womb at the Second Chakra. This is the seat of our power. It is the sacred void from which our passion is created, nurtured and birthed.

How we perceive the world is based on how we see ourselves. We, as women, have been taught to judge our bodies, to dismiss our sexuality, and to curse our monthly bleeding. We are taught to live in fear. We walk with head bowed and shoulders hunched, trying to make ourselves appear small and insignificant. We may be so caught up in our inner monologues, completely lost in negative thoughts, that we are unaware of our surroundings. We miss so much of the beauty that is around us, because we cannot accept the beauty that is us.

When we love our bellies, respect our sexuality or honour our moontime, our womb radiates self-confidence and self-love. This in turn radiates outward to our environment and to the people around us. When we recognize and accept the powerful Goddess Women that we truly are, the whole world benefits.

Walking with our Womb

Wear clothes that make you feel beautiful and bring out your passion.

Lift your head up. Roll your shoulders back a few times and then gently let them drop.

Relax your abdomen. Inhale deeply, allowing your belly to rise and fall gently with each breath.

As you begin walking, visualize that your womb is out in front, leading the way. Notice your surroundings but maintain focus on your womb, the place of your Divine Essence.

Swing your hips as you go, revel in the confidence and self-assurance of a Goddess, for that is who you are.

You are an embodiment of Goddess, the Divine Feminine incarnate. As you love yourself, the world around you is transformed.

Dark Moon Blessings
